Exclusive: Wayne Rooney had jaw broken at Stereophonics gig

Wayne Rooney proved his love for the Stereophonics recently with a tattoo in honour of the band – now we can reveal that he put life and limb on the line for his musical heroes.
The Sterophonics even played at Wayne and Coleen’s wedding – just before Wayne had the title of the band’s album Just Enough Education To Perform tattooed on his arm.
But now it’s emerged that a skint young Rooney went to even greater lengths in the name of being a Phonics fan, and rumour has it he had his jaw broken by an employee selling band merchandise when he tried to steal one of the T-Shirts.
